I’ll be the first to admit that boudoir photography isn’t exactly “practical,” and that it might even be misunderstood by some.
But there’s one thing I know from personal experience doing this work: it changes lives.
It’s no secret that women, specifically, face a brutal and judgmental world. One filled with marketing images of airbrushed “perfection,” and marketing ploys to become “better” through diet, supplements, gym memberships, and more. Baring all in front of the camera — literally — may seem like a way to highlight every self-perceived flaw that women are taught to believe about themselves, but I’m here to tell you that a boudoir session has the complete opposite effect for my clients.
Boudoir sessions empower women. They give them space to unleash their curves, to forget about all the marketing noise, to celebrate their bodies in a way they’ve never done before. I may not have a “practical” job that saves lives or educates our children anymore, but just like I value my past career, I think — no, I know — there’s value in what I do as a boudoir photographer. The proof? Every woman who steps in front of my camera, walks away feeling more self-assured and more beautiful than ever before.

a certified cosmetologist, who makes sure each client's makeup is on point for the photoshoot. Her artistry skills provide long lasting and flawless foundation with lightweight/comfort eyelashes that makes every photo pop!
When you come into my studio, this is the first thing we do. We let the hair and makeup artist take control. No worries, as soon as Taylor is done, she leaves the building to give you complete privacy with your session!
Having fresh foundation will help smooth your skin from blemishes or discoloration. Even some false lashes will add a “WOW” factor to you! We recommend curls for our clients. This helps with providing classy photos, or you can get messy in them to give your images a bit of sass!
This will be similar to a spa day for you. Kick off your shoes, make yourself at home and relax!

What’s on the outside should reflect on the inside, so the most important tip for choosing what to wear during your session is to pick something you feel confident in. Choose options ranging from sassy lingerie to his button down shirt and cuff links. If you’re feeling extra brave, you can opt to wear nothing at all for “implied nude” photos! We will capture tasteful, beautiful and flattering poses. Whatever you choose, I want you to feel beautiful and confident. Staying true to yourself is the most beautiful look of all!

You can either treat yourself and purchase a few gorgeous outfits for your photoshoot or leave it to me, because girl, I've got you covered! At my studio, I offer over 200+ pieces of lingerie and outfits ranging XS-XL. I literally have something for everyone.
My closet is packed with luxury robes, corsets, stockings, garters, body jewelry, crop tops/ white t-shirts and of course lingerie.
If you choose to take advantage of the client closet, for sanitary reasons, you will need to make sure you bring your own undergarments in nude, black or white to hide under the garment you end up choosing.
I also provide you with lots of places to shop and things to bring from your own collection.

A babydoll is a feminine and delicate short, sleeveless and lose fitting nightgown. They can be super romantic and are the perfect lingerie for feeling effortlessly gorgeous.

Hey there, you bombshell with those killer curves. Corsets will cinch your waist and give you an hourglass shape. Think of the eightieth century where the women wore corsets on the daily- they can be hard to put on, but don't worry- I can help you!

Bodysuits are one piece stretch garments that are super popular and very flattering especially if you are more on the conservative side, or you're wanting to leave your partner (if this is a gift for him/her of course) yearning for more.

When shopping for these, proper fit is super important. Be careful of push up bras, because sometimes they can make you look unnatural. Make sure the area of your armpit is smooth and you are not spilling out of the cups. That makes it more flattering on camera.

3 -6 months prior

Schedule any beauty appointments. Hair and makeup is provided on the day!
If you are bringing your own lingerie, give yourself lots of time to shop for something that makes you feel confident and gorgeous in.
1 month prior

If you get waxed (bikini, lip, brow—whatever your normal routine is), make sure it's at least a few days prior to your session to make sure any redness or irritation has subsided.
Drink plenty of water for that beautiful & flawless skin.
1 week prior

Take a long bubble bath to relax. Listen to calming music. Meditate or do some yoga.
Try on outfits and narrow down your wardrobe selection.
Moisturize your skin all over before bedtime.
Most important of all: Get a good night’s sleep!
Day Before

Use a clear deodorant.
Wear LOSE and comfortable clothing prior to arrival. This ensures there are no creases or marks from tight fitting clothing on your skin.
Eat something light but filling.

Make yourself a music playlist! Add all your favourite songs that you love and you can jam to during the photoshoot. Don't have a playlist, no worries.. I've got lots to choose from!

Feeling nervous before your photoshoot is completely normal. Words have a lot of power, so I highly recommend to come up with a mantra for yourself. Practice your affirmation in front of the mirror. You can say something like-
"I am beautiful", or "I love my body".
Say it out loud, and believe it, because girl- it's definitely true!

I've totally got you covered there. I know all the tips and tricks to create the most flattering angles for women of all shapes and sizes. Don't you worry about posing, I'll help you pose everything from your head to your toes.
HOW DO I KNOW HOW TO POSE?
Yes, your portraits are fully edited by removing any bruises, scratches, skin blemishes, cleaning up fly away hairs and I do minor/light skin softening. I will NEVER EVER alter your body as that is not what a empowering boudoir session is about. It's about loving the skin you are in. I want you to look back on these in 10+ years and say “That's what I look like and I am so proud I did this for myself.”
Do you do touchups?
Depending on how quickly you choose your final images, you will receive them within the week. You product can take up to 3-4 weeks to be delivered after that.
How long will it take to recieve my images?
